Kokomo

Use cases

Generic ingress use case

Not every server has inbound access from the Internet, and with Kokomo we can create an ingress on the fly.

Creating ingresses on the fly

Some servers and some environments are built in such a way that creating an ingress is complicated or non-viable. With Kokomo we can created ingresses to our personal computers, but we can also create ingresses on the fly for any server or workstation that we want to expose securely to ourselves or to others via the Internet.

The ability to create an ingress on the fly can unlock new use cases, simplify networking setups and reduce time when building new applications that otherwise would be unviable.

By using Kokomo we can therefore unlock architectures where access is not possible, by relying on Kokomo's bidirectional communication channel that only requires outbound connectivity on the machines where the Kokomo agent is running.
