Kokomo

Use cases

VPC peering use case

Complex architectures typically involve different VPC setups, and even multi-cloud architectures, that are hard to connect together.

Connecting VPCs and clouds

Whenever we build a decently complex application, we may end up with different VPCs running different services that eventually we need to connect together. This is even more true for multi-cloud applications, or applications that require accessing data, APIs and services from a different customer VPC, or from a vendor.

With Kokomo, we can start estabilishing peered connections via the Kokomo Tunnel in such a way that we unblock our architectures and estabilish multi-VPC peerings and multi-cloud connectivity whenever that is hard to do.

This can help unblock our roadmap and allow us to develop faster in this tricky situations. Kokomo can also be used to connect services running in a local datacenter with the cloud, by estabilishing a secure bridge between the two.
